Nola's Cauliflower Pizza Crust

When Nola first told me about this crust, I have to admit I was not super excited to try it because it sounds weird. (Sorry Nola, it does!). I probably wouldn't have made it on my own either, until I tried it when we were invited over to Giblers for a pizza dinner orchestrated for the 'non-believers' for this very purpose. It was delicious. Imagine the protein content!! And so easy!

This amount makes an average size cookie sheet.

3 cups lightly steamed grated cauliflower
3 eggs
3 cups mozzarella cheese
shake or two garlic powder
1 T Italian seasoning
**pizza or alfredo sauce
toppings (make sure meats are cooked)
mozzarella cheese

Line a cookie sheet with parchment . or use a silpat....
In a medium bowl, combine cauliflower, egg, mozzarella garlic powder and italian seasoning. Press evenly on the pan.
Bake at 450 degrees for about 15-20 minutes .
For a crispier crust, Flip and bake 5 minutes more... it will be
slightly browned.... ( flip it using an extra pan and another sheet of parchment)
Remove the pan from the oven. To the crust, add sauce, then toppings and cheese.
Bake pizza again to melt toppings and get it all toasty.
